The Knipoch Coachhouse dates from the 17-18th century and was converted to its current form in 1974. It stands in its own grounds on the shores of Loch Feochan with ample private parking.

We can offer a warm friendly welcome and good food in a stress free environment. The accommodation is well suited for easy access to the Western Isles, Ben Nevis, Glen Orchy, Loch Awe, Glenfinnan and Glencoe. We are positioned well back from the road with views over the Loch. Ideal for walking and exploring, bird watching, seal watching, boating, angling (sea or fresh water), golfing or just relaxing.

In the Heart of Argyll, with oban just a few miles to the north and the Kintyre peninsula to the south, Knipoch Coachhouse is the perfect place to be based when exploring the Argyll Coast. Just a short trip away is the Atlantic Bridge to Seil Island and beyond to the enchanting and historic Island of Easdale

Getting to Knipoch from Oban, just take the main road south (the Lochgilphead Road), a few miles after Kilmore you will see the signs for the Knipoch Hotel next door to us. If you are travelling from the south. We are a few miles after the second turning for Seil Island and Easdale. You will see our sign on your right hand side.
